ALEXANDRA BERGSTEIN is a doctoral candidate at Yale University working on a PhD in Corporate Chemical Safety Policy for Consumer Goods. She was a corporate attorney at Skadden Arps and now uses her legal training to advocate for policies that protect children's health. Alex serves as Chairman of the Board for the Mount Sinai Children's Environmental Health Center and also runs Greening our Children, an organization dedicated to helping parents and communities make informed decisions about products that impact children's health.
DEIRDRE KAMLANI, PhD, is an academic researcher, policy advisor and former banking executive who spent 22 years at JP Morgan Chase in investment banking, leveraged lending, institutional asset management, loan syndications, private banking and credit risk policy. She completed her PhD in political economy at the London School of Economics. Her publications have appeared in Bloomberg, and she has been invited to present her research at global academic conventions. Dr. Kamlani also served as head of the Policy Action Network for Economics, Finance and Regulation.
