THE PARITY PARTNERSHIP is a grassroots nonpartisan organization committed to educating the public about gender equality and policies that promote equal respect and opportunity for men and women. Studies show that when employees are able to remain in their jobs while caring for family, their productivity improves, businesses thrive and the economy grows. Research also indicates that diversity at the executive level leads to stronger financial performance.
Our mission is to help companies, communities and individuals achieve these benefits of gender equality.
To be an educational resource for individuals, businesses and legislators on the economic impact of gender equality policies, including political participation, professional advancement and Paid Family Leave. To gather and disseminate the most current research on these policies, as well as best practices from the corporate sector.
To provide a forum for constructive nonpartisan dialogue on gender equality. To host community conversations with speakers from academia and business to illuminate the inequities in our work culture and highlight proven strategies to correct them.
To support research and programming that addresses gender equality.
We are a group of professional women, some currently working in the corporate world, and some not. We are attorneys, doctors, economists, investors, academics and consultants. We welcome anyone, of any gender, race or background, to join our group and engage in this discussion so that together we can craft policies in both the public and private sectors that promote prosperity and equality for ALL.
